Mask Snob?!

A few days ago my thoughtful husband Roger asked me if I wanted him to order me a mask. I looked at the selection of fabrics the seller was offering and bit my lip, “Um, I’ll find my own. Thanks though!” This inevitably led to small spat about health verses fashion. Are you reading my mind yet?

I realize the new mask protocol is important and not meant to be a fashion statement, and I’ve been diligently wearing my plain white one when running essential errands. I just can’t bring myself to wear one covered in holiday nutcrackers or cartoon roosters! Sorry Joann!

It’s become quickly apparent that face masks are going to be much more than a passing public health trend. Major designers like Christian Siriano (the first to offer his services to NYC healthcare workers), Prada, LVMH, and more have thrown their weight into producing mass amounts of PPE for the healthcare workers on the front lines. It’s only a matter of time before masks by all of our favorite designers will be available to the public. Until then, I’ve gone down the fashion rabbit hole to find stylish masks currently available for order or pre-order to the public. *Please note, several of these I’m posting are currently sold out, but there is a waitlist you can sign up for to be notified when they are replenished. These are NOT medical grade masks.

I’ll continue to update this as I make discoveries, or message me to share what you’ve found! Stay well and stay stylish friends!

Xx Amanda
