Bullseye

Welcome to February friends! They say time flies, but why does that only seem to apply to the later months of the year? Yesterday I heard that that top hat bedecked rodent* declared six more weeks of winter. Thanks a lot Phil. I don’t know about you but this is always the time of year where I need a pick-me-up. While a trip to some exotic location would really lift my spirits, in the interest of keeping it simple, chic, and cheap I decided a trip to Target would suffice.

*Ok, so after I googled images of Punxutawney Phil I realized that the human wears the top hat, not the groundhog. I think I would be more into this “holiday” if the groundhog wore the hat. I feel confident I’m not the only person who thought this!

What is it about the red bullseye that’s so irresistible? I find pieces from the beloved Tarjay in even the fanciest of closets, and trust me, I’ve been in A LOT of closets. Target consistently offers playful trends and easy basics at reasonable prices, but I think their success really lies in catching us in impulsive moments. Sure you could go to Home Depot for some floor polish and light bulbs, but could you also pick up a leopard sherpa jacket? I think not!

After my most recent trip (which did include light bulbs) I wanted to share my favorite Target treats that brightened my day and are currently in store and online. Please note, if viewing this on a mobile device my captions and prices will not show (grrrr), but all photos below are linked. Happy shopping!
